So after a 3 hour drive back to my aunts beautiful home in Ashland, I had arrived. By this time it was 4am, but hey when I was offered a glass of wine, there was no way I was going to refuse. My aunt gave me a tour of the house, then we sat out on her front porch. I was exhausted but gradually winding down after my horrendous journey. I sat on a little swing chair with my wine and we talked until 7am. We actually didn't realise the time until I commented on the beautiful colour of the trees in front of her porch and how peaceful it was with the birds singing in the background! Haha! We finally went to bed and I slept until 3pm, got up, took a walk around the pretty neighbourhood, came back, got changed and went out to dinner! We had a party and readings to do on the Saturday so I had a fairly early night that night. At this point, I didn't feel remotely nervous about giving a reading, in fact I was quite looking forward it. But tomorrow, as they say, is another day....
