Last night I had a book signing at a primary school local to me. It was all very last minute and I must admit I was a little nervous. At my last signing, I'd had my aunt by my side so we supported each other.
You forget that you're not just there to sign the books until somebody asks you what it's about! I should know, of course, I wrote the damn thing! However my first few answers were a bit mumbled and I did blush a little (a lot!) but after a while, I found my patter. Though I must say I will practise it a bit more for the next one!

And there will be a next one, as I've been asked to do one in November.
I really hadn't expected it to be as successful as it was, I made quite a few sales and there seemed to be a lot of interest. I'm gradually raising my profile, locally at least, and I feel really excited about that. :-)
Still, I continue with the sequel to Ten Yen True. I'm pretty much three quarters of the way there so I'm definitely hoping to meet the deadline. Speaking of which, I'd better get back to it...
Bye for now x
